BUSINESS SOLUTION SUPPORT (EDGE GRANT)

SMEs are eligible for up to 50% business grant support for the adoption of DM MediaOne SEO | SEM | SMM | SMA Digital Marketing Boost Up Version 3, a Pre-Approved Solution under the IMDA SMEs Go Digital programme.

What is the EDGE Grant?

One consolidated grant replacing three separate schemes that closed on 29 September 2026.

The EDGE Grant is Enterprise Singapore's consolidated business grant, effective from 30 September 2026. It brings three legacy schemes — the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) and the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) — under a single framework spanning multiple business areas and activities.

Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) is the statutory board under the Ministry of Trade and Industry that administers the programme. It sets the qualifying criteria, assesses applications submitted through the Business Grants Portal (BGP), and disburses approved claims.

MediaOne delivers a pre-approved digital marketing solution under the EDGE framework. Support for this solution is up to 50% of qualifying costs for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs. Support levels are activity-specific, so the approved rate for the activity you select governs your application.

Grant support is disbursed on a reimbursement basis: you complete the project and pay in full, then submit your claim.

Grant eligibility at a glance

Confirm these before you spend time on a proposal. Requirements are set by Enterprise Singapore and are assessed per activity.

Self-assessment checklist

Tick all to proceed

1 · Company size (SME status)

You must have group employment of no more than 200, or group annual sales turnover of no more than S$100 million. SME status determines whether you are supported at the SME rate or the non-SME rate.

2 · Registration and ownership

Your company must be registered and operating in Singapore, with at least 30% local shareholding held directly or indirectly by Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs, determined by ultimate individual ownership.

3 · Used in Singapore

The solution you are applying for must be used in Singapore.

4 · No commitment before application

You must not have made payment or any form of deposit, or commenced work, in relation to the solution before submitting your application. Retrospective applications are not supported.

5 · Ownership and business profile assessment

Applications are assessed on the company's ownership and business profile, the selected solution and its qualifying costs, and other requirements applicable to the selected activity.

Verify activity-specific requirements before you apply. Prior-claim rules, sector exclusions and any minimum operating history are set per activity and are not uniform across EDGE. Confirm the current published requirements for the activity you select on the Business Grants Portal rather than relying on general guidance.

Eligible digital marketing solutions

EDGE supports digital marketing services and combinations of services with a demonstrable link to customer acquisition, retention or revenue. MediaOne delivers four core services — and combines them into Packages A–E.

Combinations SEO + SEM — Package A & B SEM + SMA — Package C SMM + SMA — Package D SMM + SEO — Package E
Scope is set by the pre-approved package. The services above reflect the EDGE digital scope generally. Your application is assessed against the specific pre-approved solution you select, so confirm which services and deliverables are included in the relevant MediaOne package before you submit.
What does not qualify: general IT infrastructure, office software and services unrelated to marketing fall outside the digital marketing scope. Each proposed solution needs a clear line to customer acquisition, retention or revenue.

Our EDGE Digital Marketing Packages

Five pre-approved digital marketing packages built from four core services — SEO, SEM, SMA and SMM. Your application must match the package you select, so the quotation and the package in the Package Builder must align.

What kinds of projects qualify for the EDGE Grant?

EDGE co-funds capability-building projects. The test that decides most cases is whether your project adds new scope — or simply continues scope you already have.

Likely eligible

New scope, new capability, new project

  • Adding new services you are not currently using — a capability your business does not already have in place.
  • A previous campaign has ended and a brand new campaign starts — a fresh project with its own objectives, not a rolling continuation.
  • SEO work involving new needs analysis, new targets, new content and new backlinks — the scope is rebuilt around new goals rather than repeating the last cycle's plan.

Likely not eligible

Renewal, continuation or maintenance

  • Renewal of the same SEO, SEM, social or content scope — same deliverables, same targets, a new invoice.
  • Continuation of existing services already underway — work that was already running before the application.
  • Minor edits or maintenance only — routine upkeep that does not build a new capability.

The test that decides most cases

Ask whether the project creates something your business does not already have. If the honest answer is “this is the same work again”, it is a renewal. If it is “this is a new capability, a new campaign or a rebuilt strategy”, it is a project. A new project is not automatically approved — Enterprise Singapore assesses the selected solution and its qualifying costs and makes the final determination on eligibility.

Funding and reimbursement

Support is calculated on the qualifying costs of the activity you apply for, then disbursed on a reimbursement basis after the project is completed and paid in full.

SME

Up to 50% of qualifying costs

Companies that meet the SME criteria are supported at up to 50% of qualifying costs for this pre-approved digital marketing solution, subject to the activity's own cost cap.

Non-SME

Up to 30% of qualifying costs

Non-SMEs can participate in EDGE for this pre-approved route at up to 30% of qualifying costs. Support levels remain activity-specific.

The S$100,000 ceiling, explained

S$100,000 is the overall annual ceiling for total EDGE support across all activities for a company. It is not the amount available for a single MediaOne package, and it is not a per-project figure.

S$100,000
Overall annual EDGE ceiling, across all activities combined
Activity cap
Each activity carries its own qualifying cost cap. Support is calculated on the qualifying costs of the activity you apply for.
How to read this: your support is driven by the qualifying costs of the specific activity you apply for, within that activity's cost cap — and the total of all your EDGE support in a year cannot exceed the overall ceiling.

The reimbursement cycle

You fund the project and complete it, then claim the supported portion back. Implementation timing follows your selected package duration.

Step 01

Scope the package

Agree the deliverables, cost breakdown and qualifying items against a pre-approved package.

Step 02

Apply on the portal

Build the matching package and submit your application through BGP using Corppass.

Step 03

Implement and pay in full

Complete the approved project over its package duration and settle your invoice in full.

Step 04

Submit your claim

Upload invoices, proof of payment and the required usage evidence through the portal.

Step 05

Get reimbursed

Enterprise Singapore validates the claim and disburses the approved portion to your bank account.

How to apply for the EDGE digital marketing grant

Eight steps, in order. The sequence matters more than the speed — and one step can void your claim if you get ahead of it.

01

Tell us about your business

Share your business model, target customers, current marketing challenges and growth objectives. This is the raw material for a fundable proposal.

02

Needs assessment and package recommendation

Our consultants assess your requirements and recommend the appropriate MediaOne package aligned to a pre-approved activity.

03

Agree the package and quotation

MediaOne provides the quotation and supporting solution documents your application needs, structured so the cost breakdown matches the package you will select.

04

Build the package in the Package Builder

The applicant company creates and saves the matching package using its own Corppass, then receives a Package ID. This applies even when no optional add-ons are selected.

05

Submit the application on BGP

Enter the Package ID in the Business Grants Portal and submit your application. The applicant company must submit its own application using Corppass — third-party submissions are not permitted.

06

Do not commit before application

Retrospective applications are not supported: you must not have made payment or any deposit, or commenced work, before submitting your application. As a precaution, we also recommend waiting for approval before signing a contract or starting the project.

07

Onboard and implement

After approval, complete onboarding and implement your selected package with MediaOne over its stated duration.

08

Complete the project and claim

After the required project period and full payment, submit the necessary claim documents through the prescribed government channel. Application and claim procedures are subject to prevailing government requirements.

Why choose MediaOne for your EDGE grant?

Grant applications are won or lost on the proposal, the cost breakdown and the paperwork that follows. That is the part we carry.

Proposal and scope from day one

MediaOne handles proposal scope-setting, cost itemisation and documentation from the first conversation — removing the common failure point where SMEs draft their own business case and submit a weak application.

Package Builder alignment

We make sure the package you build matches your quotation exactly, so your Package ID, your cost breakdown and your application all line up before submission.

Claim documentation discipline

Grant compliance hinges on timely claims with accurate invoices and evidence of use. Our delivery and documentation discipline protects both your funding and our standing as a solution provider.

Why the pre-approved route matters

MediaOne's digital marketing solution is pre-approved. That means the scope, deliverables and cost structure have already been assessed against the programme's requirements, so your application is built on a defined package rather than a bespoke proposal that has to be justified from scratch.

Because the application must match a pre-approved package, working with the solution provider on the quotation and the Package Builder step keeps your submission internally consistent — which is where most avoidable delays come from.

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often about EDGE funding for digital marketing.

The EDGE Grant is Enterprise Singapore's consolidated business grant. The Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) and Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) ceased on 29 September 2026, and EDGE became the application pathway from 30 September 2026. EDGE covers multiple business areas and activities, including pre-approved digital solutions.
For this pre-approved digital marketing solution, support is up to 50% of qualifying costs for SMEs and up to 30% for non-SMEs. Support levels are activity-specific, so the approved rate for the activity you select governs your application. Grant support is disbursed on a reimbursement basis.
No. S$100,000 is the overall annual ceiling for total EDGE support across all activities for a company. It is not the amount available for a single MediaOne package. Each activity carries its own qualifying cost cap, and your support is calculated on the qualifying costs of the activity you apply for.
Projects that create new capability are the strongest candidates — adding services you do not currently use, starting a brand new campaign after a previous one has ended, or SEO work built on new needs analysis, new targets, new content and new backlinks. Renewals of the same scope, continuation of work already underway, and minor edits or maintenance are unlikely to qualify. A new project is not automatically approved; Enterprise Singapore assesses each application.
Yes. The applicant company must create and save the package matching your quotation in the Package Builder using its own Corppass, then use the resulting Package ID in the Business Grants Portal application. This applies even when no optional add-ons are selected.
No. Retrospective applications are not supported: you must not have made payment or any form of deposit, or commenced work, before submitting your application. As a precaution, we also recommend waiting for approval before signing a contract or starting the project.
One application is required per Activity per UEN. Consolidating the schemes into EDGE does not mean a single application covers every activity, so a roadmap spanning several activities requires a separate application for each one.
Your engagement is defined by the pre-approved package you select — its services, deliverables and duration. On top of that, MediaOne supports the process end to end: proposal scope-setting, cost itemisation, aligning your Package Builder entry with your quotation, and preparing claim documentation. Grant administration and approval decisions remain with Enterprise Singapore.
A Package ID is valid for one month. If it expires before you complete your application, generate a new package in the Package Builder and use the new Package ID in your BGP submission.
A Package ID is tied to a specific configuration. If anything in the package changes — services, add-ons, quantities or duration — you must generate a new package and use the new Package ID. An amended quotation cannot be matched to an existing Package ID.
No. The estimate shown in the Package Builder is an indicative figure only. It is not an approval and not a guaranteed grant amount. All applications are assessed by Enterprise Singapore through the Business Grants Portal, and the approved support is confirmed only in your Letter of Offer. Always refer to the official Business Grants Portal for the current published requirements and support levels.
Yes. Ongoing EDG, MRA and PSG submissions and approved projects continue to be processed, and claims can be submitted upon project completion. Only new applications were cut off after 29 September 2026.
