Top Seafood Restaurants in Singapore

Top Seafood Restaurants in Singapore

Seafood Restaurants are the luxuries families in Singapore splurge on for big occasions like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, reunions, family gatherings, class gatherings, company functions and are the occasional luxury than a regular meal as seafood meals are typically high cost and exorbitant.

Frequently, these restaurants present seafood dishes in set meals which reduces the final bill significantly.

About Seafood Restaurants in Singapore

Many Singaporeans remember outings to Long Beach in East Coast and the National Stadium for big family gatherings and elaborate, extravagant dinners there with Chilli Crab, Steamed Garoupa, Bamboo Clams, Cold Crab, Drunken Prawns,Fried Tofu, Fried Squid, Mee Goreng, Steamed Eefu noodles etc.

Restaurants often display the live crabs and fish in large water tanks in the restaurant entrance and clients can even opt to have prawns cooked live at their dinner tables.

Next to steak and buffet meals at hotels, Seafood meals are often the occasional luxury splurge rather than everyday meal and the experience of seeing succulent fish, crabs, prawns swimming alive in large water tanks before your meal is always quite an experience, almost akin to visiting an aquarium and consuming the seafood as delicacies soon after.

Came by to this outlet sponsored partially by Uniqgift vouchers gotten from reservist. Ordered the set meal for 4 and man was it amazing!

The Peking duck is being prepared as you stepped into the outlet (upon confirmation) while you look into their e-menu, since most patrons visits them for their famed duck. You may also add $12 to have them cook the remaining portion of the duck (mostly bones) in collagen, cereal or ginger/onion.

All of the dishes were well done, portions were perfect for 4, no complaints at all for the taste, ambience, portion and service level (includes covid preparedness).

The bill however, came out to be over $260 (includes 2 snacks and 4 drinks) for the $188 nett meal, which wasn’t expected since its “nett”.

This rating is based purely on quality of food (not price) as it was a treat from a friend. We had about 10 dishes. I’ll just talk about the few that stood out for me. My favourite was the beef cubes. It looks understated but the flavour was amazing. Next would be the juicy kurobata pork ribs. I’m usually not fond of frog legs but this deep fried version with crispy ginger totally swayed me. The highlight was supposed to be the claypot rice which was good though a bit underwhelming.

Food was great. A great variety and the flavours compliments and flows with each dish without having one dish that felt over powering or disrupts the course meal.

Brought a cake for a celebration and they helped to decorate with dry ice and plating. Very kind staff, and an overall great dining experience. 👍

Really nice food at a reasonable price, and very attentive staff. We enjoyed everything we ordered, including the garlic crab and the noodles. Downsides were a horrible wine-by-the-glass selection, and what seems like almost sloppily casual decor (which some might like, but I felt they could upgrade). Still, it’s very much worth going and trying some of the nice special

The food was top quality and yummy. The service was excellent. When the satay sauce for the beef was fed back to the server to tell chef to make it less salty next time, the server immediately asked whether he can have the dish redone. What attentive service to delight customer! The returned dish was no longer salty. We enjoyed the dinner and the ambience. Great Job! We will definitely make a return trip. Cheers 👏👏👏👍😋🙌

Very local place to have chilli and black pepper crab. It is slightly cheaper than jumbo and long beach but with same quality. This place is one of the only place that offer the traditional chilli crab sauce, where there is no egg mixed into the sauce like all the other ones. Would recommend to try.

Overall I would rate this place with the following:
