Top Indoor Playgrounds In Singapore

top indoor playgrounds in singapore

Putting an iPad in front of your kids isn’t the solution to help them grow holistically. To help them develop physically, mentally and socially, you need to expose them to different varieties of having fun.

Remember the good ol’ times when we used to run around the neighbourhood playing a game of catching? There weren’t any mobile devices, but we had the time of our lives. We were creative in utilising our play space. We were resilient; we get up each time we fall. Our bodies were also agile and flexible. Through the days of playing with the other kids from the neighbourhood, we have also developed some lifelong friendships.

The great news is, there’s an abundance of indoor playgrounds where your kids can enjoy the same kind of fun as you did back in the day! They are indoors, so no one’s going to complain about the heat. Many of these indoor playgrounds are specially designed to help your child develop various aspects of their intelligence.

Most importantly, they are equipped with age-appropriate toys and safe facilities so that your kids will stay hazard-free while having fun!

What else can you find in an Indoor Playground?

Indoor Playgrounds are not just for the kids. They are designed so that you, the parents, can have a fun and enriching time together with your little ones!

Food

At some indoor playgrounds, you won’t have to starve while splitting your stare between your kids and the time!

If you have a tight schedule, look out for an indoor playground with a café or bistro so that you could do 2 things at a go!

Live Performances

Many indoor playgrounds understand the importance of giving your kids a memorable time. Hence, they have also introduced cute and affable characters, usually in a mascot outfit, to perform and entertain them. Best of all, you can also jump in and have fun together with your little ones, thus strengthening your family bond!

At Polliwogs, the resident characters will come out and lead kids in interactive performances so that they can get fit and learn valuable life lessons while enjoying the showcase.

Many indoor playgrounds also offer storytelling and musical performances to help your kid develop greater interest in literature and performing arts.

Workshops

Indoor playgrounds are continually reinventing themselves up to match the demands of modern education. They understand that kids learn best while having a jolly time.

At Playeum, your kids can attend art workshops that will help nurture and unleash their inner creativity. Additionally, they also offer Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)-approved workshops to guide teachers to incorporate the “learning-through-play” concept into their curriculum.

Other indoor playgrounds, such as Cool De Sac, offers parenting workshops to help you build stronger bonds with your kids in this Digital Age.

Review 1 “There’s separate play area for toddler and older kids. I only went to the one very small toddler as my girl is only 16 months. Nice huge area for kid that age as she is walking now. Fully padded (include those for climbing over and crawling under). Except for a few wall flip boards playing feature basically can feel at ease for them to roam around themselves. Even without membership, not too expensive compared to some other private playing theme company.”
Review 2 “A fun place for both kids and adults. Very worth it.. Accompanying adults just pay $2 additional.. No time limited… Good form of exercise for the adults indeed.”

Review 1 “Pororo Park is a haven for families that wants to have fun. Brought my 18 months old daughter here and she had a blast! We’re so happy to see playing with other kids and knowing she is socializing well makes us happy as parents. We were also able to have a chance to join their monthly theme activities and this month’s theme ‘Ocean is Fun’ . It was a very engaging and fun activity for kids to learn how to recycle. It also create awareness for kids to love the ocean by not throwing their rubbish in the sea. We will sure go back again! Thank you Pororo Park!”

Adults can have fun at trampoline basketball area, which is my personal favourite. Just visited Amazonia again in Dec 2019 with my child’s preschool friends. The kids enjoyed themselves and had been requesting to go back to Amazonia again. There is a cafe at Amazonia where the kids can have a quick bite before heading back to play again. The staffs of Amazonia are so nice and sweet to arrange for special activities at the interactive walls for our children. We will definitely bring our child back to Amazonia again.”

Review  “Beautiful indoor play space with a fantastic selection of top quality toys. They focus on educational wooden toys and have: a great set of Brio train tracks, a set of construction vehicles, a farm, three large doll houses, three areas for dressing up dolls, several toy kitchens fitted with everything you’d find in a real kitchen and more; several toy supermarkets, a beautiful toy cake shop with ice cream stand, and dozens of wooden toys and puzzles for developing attention and fine motor skills. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and takes excellent care of the space: everything is impeccably clean and they tidy up each toy area as soon as children have moved on from it. There is a small eating space outside the play area (no food allowed in the play area); they have a small selection of drinks including very nice coffee, tea and hot chocolate, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks if you wish. The entrance fee covers unlimited play time; my son happily played for a good 4 or 5 hours here and wanted to come back again the next day :)”

Review 2 “Singapore has many places for kids to play and learn in a safe environment and this is one of our favorites. Indoor, so perfect for those extremely hot or wet weather days and large enough for the kids to be entertained for a couple of hours. I have a one year old and a four year old and they both enjoy kidstop with different sections catering to the kids of various ages. My daughter’s favourite sections are the dinosaur bone sand pit, the play super market and the large climbing structure with the hidden music room at the top.”
Review 3 “We really enjoyed this place! There are lots of activities for kids of different age. For our child the most interesting one was to dig a dinosaur out of the send and to cook food on the toy kitchen. We will definitely visit the place more often.”

We had planned to go to the beach with the kids that evening but it rained sadly. That’s when we discovered a (not so hidden) gem in the mall! An indoor playground! It was perfect in every way! It was spacious, had a mix of fun entertainment for the kids and it was also educational for them! We also felt at ease letting the kids play on their own with the rest of the children because there were staff at every kids station ensuring the safety of the kids.”
Review 2
“We have been to Tayo Station for 3 times already and it’s getting better and better every visit. The more my daughter grows up the more she appreciates and enjoy playing at Tayo station, it’s like she’s growing up with Tayo. Besides the super fun play time, we love how welcoming and friendly the staffs are as well as how clean and well maintained the facilities are. They also have educational programs that you can sign up with from time to time which is a good learning experience for the kids. Overall, our experience at Tayo station is excellent, it’s really worth a visit. We’ll be back again!”

Review 1 “Awesome place. Many things to do from Rock climbing to Racing. There are 2 levels. Most of the children’s activities are on the top level. The Entrance, ticket counter and lockers are also found here. The bottom level has more adult-based games and activities such as a Rock climbing and a ninja course. However, these activities are also suitable for children(if they are more than 100cm tall) The park has many safety features and staff are well trained to handle any situation at specific activity locations. Tip: If you’re thinking of going to the mega playground from the top floor, don’t use the stairs. Go around the corner and walk and you will get to an entrance and if you climb down, you will end up in the playground saving you a minute. I highly recommend this indoor playground as it is really fun!”
Review 2 “Cool experience. Especially the trampoline. There were mini playground for kids with lots of hamster tunnels for kids to play. There is also soccer with a robotic goalkeeper and a place to show your skills on the manual scooter or skateboard.”
