Review 1 | “We were so impressed with Austral Migration’s integrity and professionalism and the efficiency they showed at every stage of the Australian Spouse Visa process. They were always helpful, readily available, even within the circuit breaker period and the full Spouse Visa was gained within 2 and a half months – which illuminates the close official connections that Austral has with Australian government departments. Thank you, William Lee and the team!” Christine and Bruce, SingaporeBy Bruce Luo |

Thank you for your help so far to push things through. Austral has a very good electronic platform for us to send our documents, which had helped us a lot to track and ensure we submit all the requirement.

Review 1 | My experience availing of the consulting services from SIP has been nothing short of great. The Immigration consultants are highly trained professionals with a good know-how of the entire process. I applied for the PR application once by myself and I found the entire process to be a bit challenging. This time around I decided to avail professional services and right off the bat I could see differences in the approach. My application process was handled by Ms. Kim who provided me with a proper schedule to be followed and the documents to be arranged. At every step, I had her supervision and helped me proofread and verify all the necessary documents. Also, she provided invaluable suggestions to improve the application success probability. I would also like to thank Rosabella for her professional writing skills who helped me prepare a great cover letter so that my application would have that edge for the reviewing officer. Overall, I am delighted that chose the correct services to avail and I wholeheartedly would recommend availing their consulting services.

Review 1 | Excellent service, highly recommended!
Elena and her team were very professional throughout the entire application process. Their communication was very transparent and clear from the beginning to make sure we get whatever that was needed to maximise our chances. Elena was always very responsive and helpful, even during weekend and non-office hours, to clear all the questions/doubts that we might have. We would highly recommend TIP to anyone looking for an agency that can help them to increase their chances of obtaining the Singapore PR. By Vicki C |
Review 2 | Excellent service. I have been applying for PR on my own and this time around I decided to go with TIP based on my initial interactions with the team. Thing that I liked about them is that they keep the entire process open and transparent. The process from inception up to the point where the application was submitted was communicated fairly and clearly. I used to think that PR application can be done on our own and I still think that it is possible however with TIP and their staff, the process is much more streamlined and you can focus on your everyday activities. I hope to get it this time around with all the positive vibes.By Satish Balakrishnan |
Review 3 | TIP have help in my preparation to a very detail document and showcase my strong point in the application. this is my second submission, during the first submission, I did it through other company and the submission document is only the basic documentation. However, since the first meeting TIP have made it very clear that there are a lot of criteria need to fulfill to increase my chance of success. Now that I have submitted my application, I am waiting with hope to get it approve. Thanks you TIP. Highly recommended

Review 1 | Very happy with the service from Singapore Immigration Experts. Really appreciate Lawrence and Bree are helpful with all the documentation and helped with the cover letter & instruction that we need to follow with the PR application. Thank you so much for all your help😊 Highly recommended this company and they are really professional👍By Ang Gek Peng0916 |
Review 2 | Lawrence is very professional and knows this work very well. I strongly recommend to anyone anytime! It is common for some people to think that they paid for a service and demand more than what they paid for without much consideration to others. I hope you keep up the good spirit despite the challenges. We did my application within the time frame given from the beginning and i am happy to say that the application is in ICA system and has so far not received any request for additional information. So no news is good news! Thanks again Lawrence.

What does an immigration lawyer do
An immigration lawyer helps you prepare the paperwork, and help you organise which documents you will need to provide on your own such as birth certificates and marriage certificates. The immigration lawyer also ensures that the documents that you have prepared are clear, correct, and consistent with what is required for the immigration process and citizenship application.
An experienced immigration lawyer is also familiar with the immigration process and what to expect from the Singapore government. The immigration lawyer will know how to avoid or minimise delays and ensure that the applications do not get held up on legal technicalities.
Is an immigration lawyer worth the cost
Hiring an immigration lawyer means adding legal fees to your immigration case. However, hiring an immigration lawyer can also save you the trouble of dealing with endless documents for the immigration application.
A good immigration lawyer avoid mistakes
A good immigration lawyer will avoid mistakes and file the correct paperwork for the immigration application. The paperwork is complicated and extensive, which means there is room for errors that will decrease your chances of getting your application approved. A good immigration lawyer will guide you on the correct steps to apply for your work permits and citizenship.
An immigration lawyer can explain options to you
An immigration lawyer will be able to explain your options to you. A third-party opinion is important to discover the full scope of your circumstances. An immigration lawyer will be able to offer you advice accordingly based on the number of cases they have handled.
How to find the right immigration lawyer
Cost
Your budget determines which immigration law firm you will engage and which immigration lawyer will attend to you. Senior immigration lawyers usually charge more than junior immigration lawyers because they have more experience.
Testimonials
It is important to check the testimonials of the immigration lawyer you are planning to engage to help you with your immigration process. Testimonials are the only way to understand how the immigration lawyer is like and predict how they will handle your case based on their past clients’ reviews.
Comfortability
It is important to feel comfortable with an immigration lawyer to trust the immigration lawyer to handle your case. Before handing over your case to an immigration lawyer, you should assess the lawyer’s professionalism and how genuine they are when listening to your case.
How to migrate to Singapore
There are two main ways that foreigners can migrate to Singapore:
- Professionals can choose between three different work visas
- A migrant’s spouse, children, and parents can come to Singapore with a Dependent’s Pass and Long-Term Visit Pass
Employment Pass
A highly qualified professional can apply for an Employment Pass to migrate to Singapore. The company that wants to employ the individual is responsible for applying for his or her employment pass. The employment pass is valid for two years as long as the same company employs the individual. If the individual makes a job switch, the new company would be responsible for applying for a new employment pass. An employment pass can be renewed for up to three years.
Migrants earning more than $4,000 per month are allowed to bring their spouse and dependent children to Singapore. For migrants earning more than $8,000 per month, their parents are permitted to stay in Singapore.
The requirements for an employment pass is as follows:
- A first-time employee must be paid a minimum salary of $3,300 per month
- The minimum salary may be increase based on the individual work experience
- The individual should possess the necessary educational qualifications for the position
- The individual should have relevant work experience regarding the position
Entre Pass
The entre pass is also known as the entrepreneur pass. The entre pass is intended for foreign entrepreneurs who wish to migrate to Singapore and start a new business in Singapore. The entre pass is valid for one year, and it may be renewed. Once the pass has been renewed once, the individual’s dependents are permitted to stay in Singapore. This would mean that no dependents are allowed in Singapore for the first year of the entre pass.
The requirements for the entre pass are as follows:
- The applicant should be at least 21 years old
- The applicant should have the relevant educational qualifications and work experience
- The applicant must own at least 30% of the new venture
- The business is required to provide local employment
- The business must be registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or be intended to register upon receiving the entre pass
The new business should meet one of the criteria below:
- It must have proprietary intellectual property
- It must work in collaboration with a premier research institution
- It must work with a Singapore government-supported incubator
- An accredited VC must fund it
Personalised Employment Pass
The personalised employment pass is a special visa catering to high-earning foreign professionals who want to migrate to Singapore. The personalised employment pass gives the individual the flexibility to switch jobs. The visa is valid for three years, and it allows the individual to stay in Singapore for up to 6 months jobless. However, this visa cannot be renewed. The individual may bring a spouse, children and parents to Singapore.
The requirements for the personalised employment pass are as follows:
- If the applicant is a foreign professional, a minimum salary of $18,000 per month is required
- If the applicant holds a valid employment pass, a minimum wage of $12,000 per month is required
S Pass
S Pass is a visa for the less qualified workers who wish to migrate to Singapore. However, there is a quota limit on the number of workers on S Pass that a company can hire. A company cannot have more than 20% of the workers holding S Pass. The S Pass is valid for two years and may be renewed for another three years if the same company still employs the holder. If the individual earns more than $4,000 per month, the individual’s spouse and children can stay in Singapore.
Requirements to be eligible for an S Pass:
- A minimum salary of $2,200 per month
- The company should provide health insurance
Conclusion
Hiring an immigration lawyer can be worth the cost as it saves you hours of preparing paperwork for the immigration application. An immigration lawyer can also provide you with guidance and avoid making mistakes that can cause the application to be unsuccessful. However, if you do not have the budget or prefer to do the paperwork independently, then immigration lawyers may not be the right choice for you.
