Top Buffets Restaurant in Singapore

the best buffet deals in singapore

All-you-can-eat buffets are the silent heroes we take for granted. They’re there when we need to throw a Mother’s Day or a Chinese New Year Celebration. They also prevent conflicts from erupting when one wishes to eat Indian food, while the other feels likes having Japanese. They give us a choice to enjoy the best of everything in a comfortable setting.

Before we dive deep into the top 20 all-you-can-eat buffets in Singapore, let’s consider a few factors. Hopefully, this will make it easier for your decision-making process.

Tips for choosing a buffet spot

Understand everyone’s needs

The concept of buffets has already served everyone’s desire to have different choices of food. Not quite. Be mindful that if you are out with a bunch of people, there are those with various dietary restrictions — For example, Halal, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.

Check with the staff to find out if there is more than one dish that serves their dietary preferences. It is not a nice gesture to be eating a variety of food while your friend across the table is munching on the only vegan dish in the entire restaurant.

Find out the buffet’s niche

With an abundance of all-you-can-eat buffets out there, every single restaurant operator is strategising how to outshine each other. Hence, each buffet experience may be different from one another.

That’s good news for us.

For example, Triple Three at Mandarin Orchard’s international buffet has a Japanese slant to it, satisfying Japanese cuisine lovers. The Halal-certified Atrium, on the other hand, specialises in elevated local cuisines.

Alternatively, you can check out the customer reviews. Pay special attention to what dishes are everyone raving about, and you’ll know why that particular buffet is so special.

Pick an ambience that fits the mood of your buffet outing

In our furniture stores and painting services article, we have briefly touched on how colour and design would impact your mood.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • What’s the purpose of this buffet outing? To celebrate a grand occasion? To commemorate a special anniversary just for the 2 of you?
  • How do you want to feel? Cosy and relaxed? Upbeat?

Different restaurants have different décor. For example, if your company of friends like to take a break from the strenuous staring of your devices, check out Lime of Parkroyal Collection, Pickering. Its biophilic design is the tonic needed for any worn out eyes. Dining there makes you feel like you’re in a sophisticated garden of the future.

For a feel of old Spain, try Don Quijote restaurant at Dempsey.

Look at the pictures of the restaurant, and compare it with the customer reviews to ensure there’s no catfishing in the description.

Look out for special promotions

There is no shortage of special promotions available in our food-obsessed nation. To start, check out the 1-for-1 perks your credit card offers.

Additionally, there are also apps such as Chope, Eatigo, The Entertainer and Fave that offers competitive buffet deals.

If you are trying to save up, go for a lunch buffet instead of a dinner option. Lunch buffets are usually easier on the wallet.

“Excellence of food and service. I brought my wife for our Anniversary Celebration. We were expecting a good buffet and WOW the food was great. My wife loved the signature Assam Fish and the desserts they had.
More than anything, their service exceeded our expectation of any buffet restaurant that we had been to. Not only they had received my bouquet of flowers and keep them in the fridge, they had made special arrangements for a nice anniversary dessert. Special shout-out to Wen Qian, Ryan and team, they had made special arrangements to make our night a special one.

Overall, the team was polite, fast to clear the tables, food service was excellent and we are quite sure every guest felt taken care of. Kudos to the Lime Team and definitely recommend for any occasion to have a great meal!” – Albert Kuck

Review 2

“Relaxing dinner. We having our relaxing buffet dinner here in Parkroyal @ Lime restaurant tonight.. Unknowingly got the best seats here.

My favourites would be their western station, and make-you-own-style chocolate fruits (extremely fresh and high quality ) that we kept going for more!! 10/10 will visit again when I have the money and time!

And thanks friendly stuffs here who served us well..

I can’t remember all the names, but specifically thanks to Ryan, Fallini, Asyraf, of course, thanks to all chefs here who make the nice food.” – Fanny

Review 3

“Had the lunch buffet at the lime restaurant on a Monday afternoon. The variety of food served was plenty for a weekday lunch buffet. It was an international spread, had roast beef sirloin, seafood, local delicacies and great desserts.

I would really commend the staff working in the restaurant, they were very efficient, in making sure our drinks were filled, plates cleared. always checking in if we needed anything. The whole experience was wonderful. Great service and food. Had a memorable birthday celebration for my dad. Will definitely be back again.” – Ellegm

“Lunch buffet on Saturday review -Lobsters and oysters is quickly refilled. Staffs are interactive and attentive. Smiley and easy approach. Environment wise may need a revamp. Nostalgic feeling. Grand but old hotel. The spread not pretty competitive. Maybe should review and compare with its neighbouring hotels. It’s a good to go place but not a place to repeat for me. But do try out the chicken“ rice” is taste ginger and alluring smell that made it splendid!” – Helena Ong

Review 2

“Enjoyed an excellent Sat lunch buffet there with my other half. Oysters and prawns are fresh and replenished frequently. The cakes (especially the Melt Signature Chocolate) available as desserts are simply gorgeous. Will visit again.” – Neville Lui

Review 3

“Me and my wife went here for her birthday to try their dinner buffet and it couldn’t have turned out better!

The food from Chef Santosh and his team is absolute world class. You can choose from a huge variety of Asian dishes with their Indian selection as their flagship or devote yourself to an astonishing seafood table as well!

For dessert they have a large variety of fruit, ice cream, chocolate and local delights!

Apart from the food, the service was top notch, we have never felt so welcome and “at home” in another restaurant before! Just amazing!

If you have been here before, visit again! If you thinking of going here,Do it! And if you have other plans, rearrange and come here instead you will not be disappointed!

Best regards from Sweden!” – Jack Niklasson

“We went here for dinner on one of the Sundays. The place is well lit and they have big tables for gatherings. They even have a hotpot section where you can choose your veggies/seafood and have it boiled at your own table. Don’t expect tip-top fresh seafood though cos the prawns were a disappointment on the day that we went. We give two thumbs up for the pomelo sago and pengat durian dessert. They should do something to the cleanliness of the toilet also as it situated near the drinks & pizza section.” – Fadillah

“They have the absolute best Roast Duck out of all the buffet restaurants in Singapore!! The duck skin is crisp and the meat is tender, fresh, and flavorful!! “The place was quite spacious and seats a lot of diners but eventually still became crowded as there were a few companies/groups taking their lunch as well. Their seafood selection was good, the sushi bar was where most people queued up. Their salmon sashimi tasted fresh. Fruits and dessert selection was also good, but I mostly enjoyed their curried cauliflower cream soup which I had seconds. The location was nice, as you can see Mandarin Hotel interior and part of the downtown cityscape. Overall, food quality and selection is good. Giving 5 stars because I think nothing really sets this apart from other buffet restaurants.” – Adrian

Review 2

“Overall good experience, staff were attentive, I wish the food had more options and better quality of seafood. Quality of food for price is so-so.” – Toby

“The quality of CNY buffet has improved substantially. Literally spoilt for choice, I would recommend to focus on dishes that are hard to come by: pig stomach and pepper soup, fish maw soup, duck leg mee sua soup, fried porridge. Dessert wise, go for apom balik.”

Review 2

“Pricey but very good Penang Nyonya buffet with lots of real traditional #LocalStreetFood more selection and varieties than any other place.
Popiah, Kuih Pitee, Assam Laksa, Penang Hokkien Prawn mee, MeeSuah duck, TaoPok, Rojak, Nasi Kunyit, Gulai ayam, Pig Stomach soup, salty vegetable duck soup, cray fish, mee goreng, CharKuayTeow, cuttlefish kangkong, assam fish curry, satay, pig trottle, braised pork, ice kacang, cendol, apambalik and a lot more…Make sure you are very hungry!!! “Went there for the Penang Buffet. While I cannot say it’s Gurney Drive quality, I can say it’s the next best thing to having to board a plane to fly to Penang to eat time. Food is definitely good and my friend and I enjoyed ourselves. We will be back!” – Richard

“We really enjoyed our free-flow high tea thanks to the attentive staff, wonderful food and a beautiful atmosphere. Everything is so fresh and yummy, thought through and simply amazing. The cream for scones was amazing.” – Polina

Review 2

“We had a lovely high tea at the Alley on 25 restaurant on New Year’s Day. The food was absolute top quality and the ambience was modern and clean while still very cozy. A perfect place to spend some time with your loved ones. The prices are quite high so that is less about this place as well as the staff that is not really connecting with their guests. During your high tea for instance you’d like it if the staff were asking if you enjoy the food. Or if you perhaps need more tea. If this improves this restaurant could really give you a more personal experience and then it would be a five star rating.” – Wieste Theeuwen

Review 3

“Tried the Lazy Breakfast on a Sunday afternoon. Can order one main selection and enjoy the breakfast buffet. There is a good buffet selection. What I enjoyed most was the nice ambience surrounding the restaurant. You can get a good view of downtown Singapore there. The restaurant also provides complimentary parking, though parking on a Sunday costs $3.75.” – Mo Iggy Loh

I rate 5 stars as the hotel really care of user experience: clean, room lighting, pillow menu, empty minibar by default (request to fill by demand), friendly bathroom. Breakfast is not plentiful but quality is good. There is small shopping area at side gate of the hotel for your concenience. Review 1

“Great laksa in a resort environment in Orchard road. Went to Oasis recently for a simple family meal and was completed bowled over by their new laksa. Checked with the staff and was told this is a new recipe by one of their chef. The gravy was lemak ! The laksa paste is homemade and you can taste the dried shrimps which were coarsely grated unlike the factory produced paste that is totally watery. The serving was very generous and comes with sustainable large prawns de-shelled for easy consumption. The only small flaw was the taupok that was not braised so a bit tasteless. Otherwise, it was a very satifying bowl of coconuty goodness surrounded by beautiful landscaping and sound of water. A great way to enjoy spicy laksa in hot Singapore weather and at a reasonable price !” – Nariko

Review 2

“Good setting. Located by the Poolside, Oasis offers a tranquil setting for you to sit back, relax and enjoy their food. Specializing in grilled food, the Oasis serves pretty good steaks and seafood. They also feature a weekly BBQ buffet and what’s more, they even have a free flow of drinks. However, I do feel that the pricing are just a little bit to high.” – Neleh G.

Review 3

“Decent grilled items and drinks. A pool side restaurant that serves grilled seafoods and meat. There’s alo free-flow of margaritas! Sounds like the perfect location for carnivorous and alcohol lovers. Hyatt’s service staff lives up to a grand standard as what was displayed at The Straits Kitchen and Mezza9. Similar attentive and polite service was on display the Oasis. We were given table pretty close to the pool coupled with many rounds of salted-round-the-rim magaritas (that were at times a little to heavy with the salt). The bbq selection was your usual suspects of prawns, squids, fish, beef, sausages and more. Except some of the grilled items turned out a little tough and bland. Not for the faint hearted. Ambience was relaxed and by night the view was even more romantic with the pool and lights.” – Cheryl

“Went for the festive buffet dinner with friends. A value for money restaurant with wide variety of food. From local Chinese, Indian, Japanese and western. The staff is attentive and always pleasant. I went during festive period hence price is slightly higher but I compare to other places is still good for the value. Would go back again” – Schnitzer Ang

Review 2

“Decent buffet with good price after promotion. The spead is normal but quality is good. Sashimi is fresh and cut when order. Tempura is fried on spot but prawn also finished fast. Other meat dishes is well cooked as well. Overall we have a good dinner.” – Boon Kiat Ng

Review 3

“Nice buffet, many local dishes and open area, price is on the high size but if you have any credit card promotion or app promotion you can get up to 50% off the price. Overall had a great experience and especially the dessert selections are good. Must try their ice cream I think it is freshly made in house. Near city area so it’s not bad. If you like buffet and love desserts, this is a must visit place at least once. If you coming by car the carpark is not cheap, so be prepared for the parking fee.” – Yuki
