As mentioned, our client retention rate is just staggering.

And we don’t just talk about search engine optimization (SEO) — we do it.

Top-tier businesses trust us — banks, universities, hotels, motorcycle firms, travel agencies — the list goes on.

While we can’t promise a specific rank position (in fact, nobody can), we promise to improve your overall search engine presence.

Our SEO Services

We offer a wide range of Search Engine Optimization services, including:

Keyword Research: We research the best keywords to target for your business. This is an essential first step in any SEO campaign, as it helps you have a clear idea of what terms you’re targeting.

Link Building: We build a strong network of backlinks from relevant, high-quality websites. We do this to increase your site’s search engine visibility and establish your online credibility.

Content Marketing: Content is king! We write and distribute articles, blogs, press releases, and other exciting content pieces that educate your target audience — and rank for competitive keywords.

SEO Campaign Management: We manage your ongoing SEO campaign, keeping you updated every step of the way. We’ll also report on our recommendations’ impact on your site’s rankings.

Technical Implementation: Next, we dig into the nitty-gritty of your website’s code and structure. We make technical changes to improve the site’s overall SEO, including broken link checking, fixing title tags, canonicalization issues, redirects, etc.

SEO Pages Content Implementation: We write compelling SEO-optimized text for your pages and implement them. We can also help you with on-page optimization (titles, descriptions, URLs) to make sure your site is structurally sound from an SEO perspective.

Site Speed: We fine-tune your site to help it load faster. We also optimize server settings and push Google’s cached pages further for better indexing. If your site is slow, users will abandon it.

Singapore Local SEO: We also focus on regional search engine optimization (SEO). We help you get your site noticed by Singapore-based users, in addition to increasing traffic from local organic listings.

Content Syndication: Finally, we syndicate your content on high-authority websites, social media channels, and blogs. This increases your site’s visibility and improves its authority and ranking ability.

Ecommerce SEO: Also, if your site is e-commerce-based, we can help with keyword research and SEO implementation. This will ensure that you get more sales from organic listings.

International SEO: If you do business in Europe, North America, or elsewhere, we’ll help you get found by international customers and improve your site’s ranking ability.

We can even handle localization (custom language translation) for multilingual sites.

And much more!

The Informative Part

What’s SEO

SEO stands for search engine optimization. It helps you get more visitors to your website or blog by ranking higher in the search engine results pages (SERPs). A highly-ranked site gets more exposure, attracting a lot of targeted traffic from the search engines. It allows you to convert web visitors into potential customers.

Why Do You Need SEO?

SEO is a marketing technique that helps people discover your website or blog through organic search. Without SEO, you’d need to depend on paid ads or other paid methods to get visitors.

SEO is an invaluable marketing strategy for bloggers, business owners, website owners, and all types of marketers looking to attract more traffic to their websites.

How Does It Work?

The concept of SEO is fairly straightforward. Search engine algorithms use a list of ranking signals to determine which pages are most relevant for the keywords and phrases entered by people searching for stuff online. That means web pages optimized for keywords and phrases that people are searching for online will be ranked higher than those that aren’t.

Is It Really That Simple?

There’s a technical breakdown of search engine algorithms, but you don’t need to know much about SEO to get started. All you need is a basic understanding of how search engines like Google work and what’s involved in ranking sites higher.

How Will You Benefit from It?

The return on your investment in SEO Marketing is hard to quantify, but it’s definitely worth the money. It can significantly increase your website’s traffic, which means you have yet another way of promoting your products or services.

Types of SEO

Search engine optimization is a broad term encompassing several techniques that help bring more visitors to your site. However, most of the time, SEO encapsulates these five categories:

SEO Is Dead… Long Live SEO

There have been a lot of reports saying that SEO is dead. What does it mean? It’s all about ranking factors. You see, there are (literally) hundreds of ranking signals used by search engines to determine which web pages rank higher in SERPs. Depending on your changes, some of these ranking signals can directly impact your website’s ranking higher or lower. While some ranking signals are more important than others, as a whole, they can have a direct impact on your page rank.

That means Google is continuously refining and updating its search engine algorithm to provide users with the best results possible. As such, many of these so-called ranking factors have become obsolete in recent years.

Search Engines Market Share in Singapore (Statistics)

The following statistics provide an overview of the most popular search engines in Singapore.

As you can see, Google holds a dominant position in the local search engine market with nearly 96% share. That means about 96 out of 100 searches performed in Singapore are done on Google.

Bing follows it with 1.98% share, Yahoo with 1.68%, DuckDuckGo with 0.34%, and Baidu with 0.18%.

Outsourcing SEO Vs. DIY SEO

SEO is a lot of work. However, contrary to popular belief, you don’t always need to hire an SEO professional or agency to outsource your SEO tasks. But if you want the job done right and within a reasonable timeframe, it might be best to hire somebody who specializes in this area of expertise.

If time isn’t on your side and you don’t want to hire anybody, why not try and do it yourself? However, bear in mind that this is a long-term strategy. You won’t see quick results overnight, but depending on the work you put into your SEO campaign, we can guarantee your SEO effort will eventually pay off.

How To Rank Higher on Google Singapore?

Ranking on Google Singapore isn’t any different than ranking on Google anywhere else in the world. It’s all about creating high-quality content and providing value to your users.

You need to understand what it means to rank higher, and you need a good understanding of SEO if you don’t want to ruin your chances of ranking in the top 10.

Content is king, save for terrible content that nobody wants to read. That means if you’re looking to outrank your competitors, then you should start producing better quality content than them – not just quantity-wise but also quality-wise.

Keyword research is another important aspect of SEO because it tells you which keywords and phrases you should target. That’s important because it allows you to tailor your content towards the keywords that will be more relevant to your audience and, therefore, more likely to convert when used correctly.

Once again, this isn’t anything new, but many marketers fail to understand how powerful keyword research can be if applied correctly.

Keyword research is important because it provides valuable insight into your target market’s search for on Google. Armed with this knowledge, you can tailor your content toward keywords that are likely to convert and rank higher.

What’s an SEO Agency?

An SEO agency is a company that specializes in all things related to search engine optimization. As stated above, SEO is a lot of work, and it requires somebody who specializes in this area to ensure your site ranks higher in SERPs.

While you can do most of the tasks involved in SEO yourself, such as keyword research and writing good content for your target market, other factors like technical SEO and backlinking strategies aren’t within your capability.

SEO agencies are much better equipped to analyze your site and improve it in areas that you aren’t familiar with – mainly because they have the resources, time, and money required to take on all things SEO-related.

What Does an SEO Agency Do?

As stated above, an SEO agency usually has a team of people specializing in backlinking, technical SEO, and other similar areas. They understand Google’s algorithm better than anybody else and know how to get your site ranking higher in SERPs.

They’re familiar with all the latest changes Google makes to its algorithm almost daily. Meaning, they know what to avoid and how to adapt their strategies accordingly – which is why most agencies outrank those who attempt to do it themselves.

So, what exactly does an SEO agency do?

Learn About Your Business, Audience, and Goals: A necessary first step in the process of boosting your website’s rankings is understanding who your target audience is, what they want and why they might be interested in the products or services you’re offering.

This stage involves some research on behalf of the agency to learn more about your business and its goals. From there, they’ll get an idea of how SEO can help you achieve these goals and tailor their SEO campaign to ensure your site ranks higher.

Note that: any agency that skips this first step should be approached with caution.

Create Keyword & Content Strategies: An agency will work with you and your team to develop a keyword strategy. That includes identifying keywords and phrases relevant to what you’re offering and tailoring your website content accordingly — using the keywords identified in the research.

The success of this strategy depends on the agency’s experience and knowledge of which keywords are more likely to rank well in SERPs. If you’re well aware of this information, then it’s unnecessary to use an SEO agency since you have access to the same data they do.

Content Creation and Distribution: One of the ways an SEO agency can help your site’s rankings is by creating new content for it. That includes articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, etc., which they’ll promote across their own social media channels and external websites.

Create Inbound Links: A backlink is essentially a link from an external source that points to your site to boost its authority in the eyes of Google’s algorithm.

Backlinks tell search engines that other websites find your content valuable enough to link to, which usually results in a higher rank. An SEO agency understands which backlinks are most valuable to your site, as well as the strategies they can use to generate these links.

Regularly Monitor Rankings & Results: After the initial setup of a campaign, an SEO agency will periodically check on your website’s rankings and track whether or not their efforts have been successful so far. They’ll also implement additional changes if needed to ensure your site’s sustainable growth.

Review & Improve Your Site: Since SEO is a fluid and ever-changing landscape, an agency will periodically review your website to ensure it continues to meet SEO standards. Depending on the campaign’s direction, they’ll also implement any necessary changes, including content updates, design improvements, etc.

The agency may also outsource some of the content-creation work, if need be, based on your budget and requirements.

How Many SEO Companies Are there in Singapore?

There are hundreds of SEO companies to choose from in Singapore. While it may be tempting to hire the cheapest agency available, keep in mind that quality comes at a price.

A good SEO company should have a solid track record of achieving results for similar businesses within your industry, so consider asking for references before committing to anything.

Before committing to a particular agency, ask yourself the following questions:

You can also check out their past work by looking at websites they’ve helped rank higher in the SERPs, social media profiles they manage for their clients, etc.

How SEO Companies in Singapore Work

As you might expect, all SEO campaigns include the same element: ongoing work.

The biggest difference between agencies is their pricing structure and capabilities. Some offer full-service packages, while others prefer outsourcing certain tasks, especially content writing and outreach — instead of doing everything in-house.

Check out their portfolio to get a better idea of how they work, but don’t forget to check out their ratings and reviews too. It’s also important to gauge their communication skills because you want them to be easy to work with at the end of the day.

Are SEO Agencies Worth It?

No one should lie to you – a good SEO agency doesn’t come cheap.

If you can afford one, we highly recommend hiring them to work on your campaign for at least eight weeks (ideally 12) and see what that does to your business.

If that sounds like a lot, then you’re probably better off working with an in-house SEO team. Don’t get us wrong: We’re not saying it’s impossible to find an affordable SEO agency in Singapore; we’re just saying that it’s very unlikely. And if you do find one, the chances are good they’re using some underhanded SEO tactics.
The Cost of Doing Your Own SEO

The Cost of Doing SEO: Let’s break down the cost of doing your own SEO campaign so you can have a better idea of what to expect.

SEO Tools: SEO without tools is like packing a parachute without the dome. Here are some of the tools you need Moz Keyword Explorer, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs and Google Keyword Planner. You need at least two of these tools, a paid one and a free one. This should cost you about $100 per month.

SEO Training: Unless you’re knowledgeable about SEO, you will need SEO training). This might also cost you $100 per month when you opt for Udemy courses.

Content Creation: It’s also a good idea to hire a copywriter to help you with your content, especially if you’re not that fluent in English. If your blog posts and website articles are lacking in quality, you’ll lose trust and traffic, which is the last thing you want. The typical cost of hiring a competent copywriter is about $100 per 1500 words. So, if you’re planning to produce ten articles per month, that translates to $1 000 every month.

Link Building: Link building is one of the best ways to get your website indexed by Google. However, this is also the costliest part of SEO. Note that you’re also responsible for producing the content to be linked. A backlink from an authoritative site will do wonders for your search engine rankings. That said, small business owners should plan to spend about $500 per month on link building alone.

Note that this only covers the cost of what’s within your capability. There’s also the technical aspect of SEO to address.

The Cost of Hiring an SEO Agency in Singapore

So, let’s say you hire an agency to do your SEO. How much will it cost you?

Well, the cost of SEO tends to vary depending on what’s included, but you should be willing to spend at least $1500 per month.

Ahref interviewed 350 SEO consultants and freelancers to find out how much they charge:

Most agencies work with monthly retainers

74.71% of the respondents said they charged a monthly retainer, while 12.50% charged per task. A handful of consultants said they charge an annual retainer, while others work with their clients on a per-project or hourly fee basis.

The retainer amount also varied between countries but seldom exceeded $5000 94.23% of the agencies priced their retainers below $5000).

Overall, the retainers ranged from $1500 to $5000/month

While Some Agencies Have Multiple Pricing Models, Others Only Have One

59.1% of the agencies had only one pricing model, while 23% had two models, and 17.9% had three or more pricing options.

39.66% of the agencies only had the monthly retainer — no hourly rates or per project pricing.

For Hourly Pricing, $100 to $150 per hour is the Most Popular Option

25% of all per hourly rates fall within the $100 to $150 per hour range. 19.53% of the agencies had rates within the $75 to $100 range.

For Per-project Pricing, $500 to $1000 Per project is the Most Popular Option

25.17% of all per project rates fall within this category, while 52.3% charge a once-off fee of 1000+ dollars.

A few companies were charging as high as $25 000 or even $50 000 per project.

Hourly Rates Seldom Went Beyond $150

88.28% of those interviewed said they charged less than $150 per hour, and only 11.72% of the respondents charged more than this amount.

Half of them (50.44%) charged between $75 and $150 per hour. Only 6.25% of the rates exceed $200 per hour, and a mere 1.61% surpassed $300 per hour.

Agencies Charge Twice as Much as Freelancers

While freelancers charge 68/hr., agencies charge 134.66/hr.

Freelancers are more likely to have higher rates if they stack many years of experience in the field, offer contact hours, and possess certifications.

It’s the same with monthly retainers. Agencies charged two to four times as much as freelancers.

Experienced SEO Charge More than their Inexperienced Counterparts

This shouldn’t come as a surprise. SEO with over two years of experience charged 39.4% more on their hourly rates, 102.41% more on their monthly retainers, and 275% more for once-off projects than their counterparts with less than two years of experience.

SEOs Targeting a Local Clientele Charged Less than Those Targeting a Global Market

SEOs targeting a global market charged 130.74% more for their monthly retainers than those targeting a local market.

The story was similar for their hourly and per-project pricing, just not that extreme. Brazilian, Latin American and Indian SEOs charged the least

When asked about what they charge per hour, freelancers from these countries mentioned $60 or almost half of what their US counterparts charge: $200-$300/hr.

The Current State of SEO in Singapore

Singapore has a limited number of SEO agencies, but almost all of them are pretty decent.

And while SEO costs are high in Singapore, they are still cheaper than what people are paying for SEO Services in the US, the UK, and Canada.

It’s more expensive than anywhere else in Asia, though.

Internet Penetration in Singapore

Singapore has the sixth-highest (at 88.4%) internet penetration rate in Asia, after South Korea, Japan, Brunei, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

How competitive is the SEO Landscape in Singapore?

Singapore’s search market is highly competitive. The top 3 search engines — Google, Yahoo, and Bing — hold over 98% of the market share.

SEO Services Offered in Singapore

On-page optimization, link building, reputation management, content creation, etc. are offered by most companies.

A few agencies offer social media marketing, web development, conversion rate optimization, etc.

How are SEO Companies Financed in Singapore?

70% of them are cash flow positive, while 23% more claim to be moderately profitable.

Some have turned to profits, while others just break even with their clients or get slightly into the red at times.

Only 6% of them remain in the red.

The Biggest Challenges Faced by SEO Companies in Singapore

Lack of understanding of what SEO is and does remains to be the biggest challenge in the industry. And then, some clients don’t understand this concept either.

There’s also a huge gap in expectations between agencies and their clients regarding reporting and communication.

That’s why SEO agencies have to spend a lot of time and effort educating their clients regarding what they should expect from the services they provide and what’s unrealistic.
